So often we feel powerless versus the signs of aging. I'm sure if you are visiting this blog, you can remember a time where you first noticed a marked physical sign of aging. Many people panic when they first notice vericose veins appearing on their legs, or thinning hair growing on the scalp, or wrinkles starting to rob us of our youthful beauty.
Don't worry, you are in good company if you getting older day by each passing day. We all are. But that doesn't mean we should resign ourselves without a good fight! Come on, you're human! Live gracefully SURE, but don't graciously let time ravage you.
For my first ever blog, and my first ever post, I'd like to summarize what you can expect to see.
The main topic will be to illustrate actionable exercises which can be immediately put into practice for those wanting a more youthful looking face. I will write about certain exercises for the Chin and Jawline, to the Forehead and Scalp, all the way up around the head to the two occipitalis muscles behind the ears. You'll be amazed at how those muscles behind the ear will pull back your face once you awaken them out of years of dormancy! I will try to include, whenever legal, muscle diagrams to help you visualize what you are doing and to help you realize what is going on behind the curtain (under the skin).
I plan to not only use this blog to help men and women reduce inconspicuous lines from facial skin, but also to be philosophical about it. It's important that we look good, but even more important that we are living with a passion. A face of a 20 year old will do us no good even in our 40's, if we don't have love for something in the world around us. Selfishness and the desire to look better to a certain point is healthy. The danger is when preserving one's beauty turns from a healthy level of selfishness to self-obsessiveness, and attendantly driving out any possibility of compassion or concern for anybody else but themselves.
I have read many of the books written on this subject, but also have experimented with some of these exercises myself and have put together a unique plan to help visitors to this site "face their face" and begin to take REAL steps for a more youthful you.
It's possible, it's natural, and it's OH SO FREE! Let's do it.
